Are you a new or veteran event organizer? Are you interested in learning about the City of Fremont's Special Event Permit process? Do you have specific questions about an upcoming event? Then this workshop is for YOU! SPECIAL EVENTS 101 Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Location: Fire Administration Training Center (behind City Hall), 3300 Capitol Ave., Fremont, CA 94538 Topics will include: •An overview of the City's Special Event Ordinance, specifically discussing which events do and don't require a special event permit. •An overview of the special events application and permitting process. •Important items of which to be aware, such as application deadlines, City, State and Fire codes. garbage and recycling requirements, road closures, use of City property, fee's, etc. •Learn about additional permits that may be required for tents, canopies, stages, food and/or alcohol service. •Questions specific to your event? We will leave plenty of Q & A time!
