What is the Mission of the Fremont Police C.A.R.E. Volunteer Program?
The Fremont Police Volunteers C.A.R.E. Program helps support the goals and mission of the Fremont Police Department by developing and strengthening partnerships and relationships between the department and the community. Our pledge is to recruit, train, and retain talented volunteers who will be encouraged to participate in meaningful community safety, security, and service programs.

What is new about the Fremont Police C.A.R.E. Volunteer Program?
The Fremont Police Department is expanding our existing volunteer program to include new assignments in the community.

The two new branches of the existing volunteer program are Operations and Community Outreach. These two areas of volunteer assignments require additional specialized training provided by the Police Department staff. The C.A.R.E. volunteers will wear uniforms and drive police vehicles when on duty. If you are interested in applying, we will be accepting applications from June 15 through July 15, 2010.
