Communications Center
The Communications Center is the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for the city. All Fremont 9-1-1 calls are answered by police dispatchers. Calls for service are classified and the dispatched to police personnel and/or transferred to other city departments when appropriate, including the Fire Department. The center averages over 360 incoming calls per day and handles close to 300 incidents a day.

The center is staffed by 24 dispatchers, six of which are supervisors.
